His Infernal Majesty

Five days... four nights... Lowlands Festival! Now I look back at it, it was so awesome! The first day, before it all began, was a lot of fun and exciting. And I didn't even realise yet that I was going to see HIM the next day...

Because I was waiting for my friend Daan I didn't really get the chance to be in front, but that didn't make it less good :).. HIM was so fcking awesome! Ville sounded like Ville and looked very good *sigh :)*, Linde wiggled like our Linde, Gas was a 100% cute Gas, Burton rocked his sexy hair .. uh, I mean keybord like Burton ;p, and Mige... wouw Mige was so happy and walking around being Mige!! I was so in 'trance' that I can't even remember what song they played first, but I remember they played It's all tears, Killing loneliness, Join me, the Sacrament, Vampire heart, Wicked game... and more more more!! Time went by so fast... they played for an hour but it felt like 10 minutes! I was so nervous and still couldn't realise I was really there it was over before I knew it. But I made some pics and videos to keep my memory fresh and yummy :p, so go take a look ;)..!!

So.... after HIM I saw Snow Patrol! And I was in front this time.. They were very good and they played my favorite 'Snow Patrol song' ;p.. Run! It was soo sweet.. like half of the people at the gig got special Snow Patrol lighters, and when he sang 'light up, light up' in the song Run, everybody lit up their lighter! Looked very sweet...

I saw a lot of bands but I'm not going to write about every one of them, cause I don't want to bore you too much :p so I'll skip the rest... except for the perfect ending of Lowlands: Muse..!! Too bad I wasn't in front, but somewhere near the end I found a gap so I could see the stage :p! And I was all alone... my other friend Mick lost his cellphone in a rollercoaster so I coudn't call him all day (he did was in front...)! But..!! Muse was perfect :)! Of course no one can compete with HIM, but Muse really was great! Amazing that three persons can make such a beautiful sound...

So Lowlands in general: while I was there it was oke... but as I said before, now I look back at it, it was so much fun :)!! Someone brang a small bbq and a guitar so there were a lot of cosy moments =).. I only slept 2 out of the 4 nights so when I came home yesterday I went straight to bed :p. And I met some great new people who I already miss now! Oh one day it rained so much that the floor was completely changed into mud.. my shoes don't even look like shoes anymore! But the mud was also fun :p! Ghehe some of my friends just started sliding and being crazy in the mud, and after a while a lot people were sliding around in the mud and actually made some kind of race or game out of it! Mudlands! It was very funny... :) *sigh*... I've got some good new momories... :)

I think I'll go again next year... hehe...

AAAH NOO this can't be true!! there are only 4 pics left of the 20-something i took... my wideo's are gone too... i'm so sad! how could this happen...

oke i must think positive.... there are still 4 pics!! woohooo!! yeaaah!! i took 4 pics!!! 2 of ville and 2 of... well hard to see, but I took 4 pics!! YAAY! and i was there! i really saw ville, burton, mige, linde and gas! yes i did!! woohooo!

wouw this actually made me happy! well... less sad hehe... my mum is really sad that they're gone too, so she's gonna find out if she can get something of paradiso itself (she knows the manager hihi) and if she can, i'll share!! hihi

IEIEIE!!! yesterday i saw HIM in paradiso... omg it was awesome!
i was a little bit 'late' (the doors were already open) coz my 2 friends didn't want to wait so long in front of a closen door... but i managed to get a spot somewhere in the middle and i found a hole between all the long people. and then the waiting... aaaah it was so exciting!
and then... a little over time... there they were!!! so f*cking awesome! i was like: omg they are real...!! these are the guys i've only seen on pics and in wideo's! AAH!

they started with Vampire heart!! but it was kinda sad that you couldn't really hear ville :(! and i also couldn't really hear the little talks of ville between the songs... he said something about changing Your sweet 666 into Your sweet 616 and mooore... some people said there was something wrong with the sound, but it still was GREAT! and someone threw a black bra on stage hehe.
it was so weird... i couldn't believe i was really there... it felt like i was watching them on a screen, so was trying to convinvce myself the whole time that it WAS real! i still kinda can't believe it hehe...

it was so awesome when they started to play Wings of a butterfly... that song is so amazing! i can't remember the whole playlist, but they played a lot of old favorites like Join me (!!!! :D!!!), Right here in my arms, Your sweet 666 (616?), Poison girl... but not Gone with the sin :(! (my favorite song)
oh! and my friends lift me up on their sholders so i could take some good pics, but after one pic the security said i had to came down :(!! muuh! evil...

at the end someone thew beer or water on ville and he quite enjoyed it hehe! he even started to throw back hehe that was funny... i made a wideo of the flying water/beer!
end then... after the last song (the Sacrement), Burton threw his towel in the audience and the girl right in front of my nose catched it! i almost got it! but didn't!! *sad*!!
but then... the end... :(!!! time passed by sooo fast! so i didn't take a lot of pics... :( i'll post some pics as soon as i find out how i can put them on the computer (new camera... :P)

after the show i bought a t-shirt (i'm wearing it now! YAAY!) and my friend bought a poster for me :) very sexy poster!! and then we sat down across the street. a group stood there waiting until the band came out, but when they did they got in a van and drove off...
hehe i was in a 'trance' until this afternoon, so awesome! i was giggeling the whole time hihi! can't wait to see them again... but i guess i'll have to wait a long time for that... :(

hmmm i just read the review in the dutch newspaper 'Parool', and it says that ville can't sing! and that their music is ordinary... *angry*!! ah well... stupid review :P! we know that ville CAN sing and that it's absolutely NOT ordinary!! hihi

a summary of the show: it was AWESOME! :D :D :D :D *happy!!*

and for the people who were there too: if you saw a small guy with a large white jacket (chemistry-jacket, he stole it from school hehe) with a heartagram on the back, that was Mick! my friend :) he made the heartagram himself, so awesome!! (i'll post a pic of it)
